Spring’s here! Winter seems to be dragging on a bit too much and stay in town for Summer, but we’re really in Spring!

Let’s whisk this cold whitness away and let the colours in: here’s three illustrations in very different styles, destined for wine labels: Becco Rosso, Flying Finds and Wallaroo Trail.

Also, two recent illustrations published in Tchin-tchin magazine, another created for Magazine Protégez-Vous and a last one for Reader’s Digest.

Have heart, Spring should be showing its nose soon!

Available soon in the coming weeks:
my new online portfolio.

On your TV screen, starting on February 13, 9 p.m. on Radio-Canada, you’ll see the credit titles I’ve done for the show La Galère. I’ll take the opportunity to mention the great work of André Jacob (andrejacob.com) at animating my illustrations and of Pierre-Emmanuel Messier at artistic direction (minimalmedias.com). On a same note, my agent Lise Madore was a great and wise advisor.

Also: Ma Christmas card received a Certificate of Excellence at the Grenier d’Or Contest, in the e-Cards category.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you all!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

A bit early for Christmas! Three Vintage-style illustrations for some Vachon’s cake packaging!!! Miam!

And an illustration used on a poster taking about migraines (not the ones after the Holidays!)

Oh, and one other thing…

I was one of the finalists in the 2006 Lux contest with two illustrations in the Promotional category: What a pleasure for me, since I never won any trophy when playing baseball as a youngster! My coach would be pleased though, since I had the habit of scribbling in the right outfield instead of looking after the ball!

See you! Paul

Something new in the BO section: for starters, a set of illustrations for the April, 2006, issue of the european magazine L’Entreprise avril 2006 for the article Cinq règles pour faire parler de votre entreprise sur le Web. Still in the BO section, a job with the Ministère de la santé et des services sociaux about international adoption . Also, two illustrations ordered by Le Soleil: one about the 2006 Oscarsune and another one for the article Traveling Alone in its Travel section

In another style, the visual identity for the Régie des rentes du Québec. Et, finally, for Corsaire Design, an illustration for La fête des voisins.

Finally, we made it to 2006! I hope that this new year will bring you inspiring novelties and visual stimuli!

And to start off the year on the right track, I swear I’ll update my site more often… I have a good excuse though: in the last months, I’ve put all my efforts in creating a distinctive and renewed illustrative style. After several touch-ups and polishing, here’s my all-new style, under an all-new section:
BO.

From now on, I’m represented, under this new name, by two agencies (out of Québec only):
For Montréal,
contact Lise Madore, ressources visuelles inc.
For the United States and oversea,
contact Agence Kot et Kat in Paris

For Québec City, nothing’s changed! I’m still your loyal and dedicated illustrator!

Besides BO, I invite you to check the Editorial section: I’ve been given some nice contracts by Le Soleil.

You’ll find in the Corporate section a job I’ve done for Texel and an well-dressed ostrich…

Coming soon: the new graphic image of the Régie des rentes du Québec.

Keep the cold out… Stay warm indoor!

See you soon,
Paul

The 2005 Festival d’été de Québec’s visual signature has been revealed! A new signature, created in collaboration with Yves Testet, Bleu Outremer’s artistic director, that we’ll see on the official badge and the various posters of the Festival. A groovy yellow elephant… This summer’s going to be festive!

Two illustrations for Le Capitole de Québec, one for La Société de l’ Assurance Automobile du Québec and another one for Propage créativité marketing.

New Project: The Festival d’Été 2005’s illustrative design (badge, poster, etc.)
